EquiMercado is an importer and distributor of organic and Fair Trade products. EquiMerc​ado is a tool of Fundación Adsis that works for the sustainable development of farming communities in the countries of the South.

Today, after more than 25 years of existence, we distribute more than 300 products of organic food and natural cosmetics. Currently, we work directly with a large number of cooperatives, mainly formed by women, in Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia, Chile, Guatemala, South Africa, India, Sri Lanka and other countries. We buy the products directly from these cooperatives according to Fair Trade criteria.

We focus on sourcing products from small-scale farmer and worker groups across the Global South. We support and work alongside with these groups to trade their way out of povertry and help them, their families and communities to get sustainable development.

Our produts combine quality and respect for the environment, workers, their dignity and their basic social rights. All our products have been purchased from small Fair Trade cooperatives. Thanks to Fair Trade, these cooperatives get a fair price for their products without the intervention of local intermediaries, and they can guarantee a better future for their workers and their respective families. A taste of solidarity!

We have a modern warehouse in Noáin, (Navarra – Spain), where we receive the merchandise and distribute it to all our customers in Spain and the rest of the European Union. We are dedicated to applying Fair Trade principles across our whole range of products. In this way, our suppliers in Europe are always small companies or cooperatives who share our principles in equity, social justice and respect for the environment.

EquiMercado is a founding member of the «Coordinadora Estatal de Comercio Justo» and WFTO (World Fair Trade Association). We are also licensees of the Fairtrade Seal. All our natural cosmetics are endorsed by the prestigious Bio.inspecta seal of Natural Cosmetics.
